Earlier this week, the East Union Township Supervisors issued a burn ban for the township.
The burn ban was issued due to extremely dry conditions from lack of rain over the past several months.
The ban is in place until further notice.
As of November 15th, 2020, Schuylkill County IS NOT under a burn ban.
