Over 2,100 Schuylkill County Homes as of Midday as Winds and Downed Trees Continue to Knock Out Power

As of Midday Monday, high winds and downed trees continue to knock out power in Schuylkill County.

Emergency personnel from around Schuylkill County have been busy since early Monday cleared downed trees on road ways and power lines.

According to PPL, as of 12:00pm, Monday, 2,153 homes were without power.

A majority of those affected include:

  • East Brunswick Township
  • West Brunswick Township
  • West Penn Township
  • Rush Township
  • North Manheim Township
  • Port Clinton
There are also numerous other smaller outages reported around the county.
