Rose M. Smith, 84, Pottsville, formerly of Girardville passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 1st, at The Gardens of York Terrace, Pottsville.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday from St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Fountain Springs with Rev. Brian Miller officiating.

Sharon Kay Zehner
, 62 of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2020, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial in Coaldale, Pennsylvania.

Born Monday, March 10, 1958 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania, Sharon was the daughter of the late John W. "Jack" and Eleanor Louise (Hain) Brode. She was also predeceased by her companion Norman J. Sterling Jr. on June 30, 2015 and her brother, John Brode in 1974.

Sharon graduated from Tamaqua High School with the Class of 1976. She was a member of Primitive Methodist Church and worked at True Value (Cotter and Company) in Fogelsville, PA.

Surviving are; daughter, Heather Hartwell wife of Ammon of Tamaqua; brothers, Gary Brode and Michael T. Brode and his wife Lori, sister, Louise Teter; 2 grandchildren Kayla and Damon.

Graveside Services will be held at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Tamaqua, PA. on Friday November 6, 2020 at 1:00 PM.

Rhoda E. Wolfgang
, 93, of Tremont, passed away Monday, November 2, 2020 at the Gardens of York Terrace, Pottsville.

Born in Tremont, November 25, 1926, a daughter of the late Walter and Maleda Bowman Carl.

Rhoda was a 1944 graduate of the former Tremont High School. She was a retired seamstress from the garment industry.

Rhoda was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Tremont.

A devoted homemaker, she took great pride in her home and family. She enjoyed attending her great grandsons sporting events and 50's music.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Stanley Wolfgang, 2015; sisters, Lillian Gillespie and Patricia Warner; brothers, Walter Carl Jr., and Robert Carl Sr.

Surviving are her two children, Bruce Wolfgang, Tremont and Diane Jones (Bruce), Tremont; one brother, Rev. Dr. Larry Carl, Wyomissing; two grandsons, two step-granddaughters; three great grandchildren and five step great grandchildren. Nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc, Tower City with Rev. Maureen Duffy- Guy officiating. Burial will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
