ELECTION RESULTS: Symons Concedes; Twardzik Wins 123rd District Race

Tim Twardzik will represent the 123rd District of the Pennsylvania General Assembly.

Just after 10:30pm, Candidate for the 123rd District, Tim Twardzik announced that he received a phone call his opponent, PJ Symons, informing him that he was conceding from the race.

Twardzik, a Republican, will take over the district that has been held by Representative Neal Goodman, a Democrat, since 2003.

While all the votes have not been counted, as of this posting, the 10:30pm update from the Schuylkill County Election Bureau reported that Tim Twardzik held 12,372 votes with PJ Symons holding 6,742.
