William Earl Beltz
, 60, of Barnesville, PA died on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 in Philadelphia, PA. He was the husband of Sheryl Lynn (nee Boltz) Beltz. 

Born in Shenandoah, PA on January 7, 1960, Bill was a son of Betty (nee Whitenight) Beltz of Tamaqua, PA, and the late Melvin Earl Beltz. A 1977 graduate of Mahanoy Area High School, he spent more than 20 years working for Lehigh Coal & Navigation Company, Tamaqua as a heavy equipment operator. With the 2005 inaugural reopening of the Tamaqua Train Station, Bill was an integral part of the Downtown Tamaqua Revitalization as owner and chef of The Restaurant at the Station which he continued doing for over 8 years. He was also the owner and operator of the Brookside Pub in Park Place for 14 years. Bill was a member of the Tamaqua and Mahanoy City Masonic Lodge #238 where he served as a former chaplain and a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ, Barnesville. The most loving, kind, and generous man, he took joy in sharing the produce from his gardens with friends and neighbors, making extraordinary meals for his wife and family, and spending time with his grandkids. Bill loved #3 Dale Earnhardt, Sr., the Penguins hockey team, and the Yankees, just like his dad. 

In addition to his wife, Sheryl and his mother, Betty, he is survived by brother, Daryll Beltz of Lansdale, PA; sister, Karen Beavers of Florida; step sons, Anthony Saullo of Maryland and Dominic Saullo of New Jersey; grandchildren, Jake Saullo, Gage Saullo, Lillian Saullo, and Chloe Saullo; nephews; and nieces. 

Services will be held at 1 PM on Sunday, November 8 at the Zizelmann-Gulla Funeral Home, 500 East Broad Street, Tamaqua with The Rev. Robert Peiffer officiating. Interment in the White Church Cemetery, Barnesville will follow services. Call 11 AM – 1 PM Sunday at the funeral home. 

Memorials in Bill’s name may be made to St. Peter United Church of Christ, c/o 21 Elm Avenue, Barnesville, PA 18214. Attendees are reminded of the COVID-19 pandemic guidelines and are kindly asked to wear a mask and observe physical distancing.

Paul G. Webber
, 84, of Pine Grove, passed away Thursday, October 29th, at St. Lukes Hospice House, Bethlehem.

Born in North Manheim Township, on April 11, 1936, a son of the late Helen Roeder and William Webber.

He was the husband of the late Janice (Eckert) Webber.

He was employed by Argo as a shipping supervisor.

Paul is survived by a daughter Joan M. Geary, Schuylkill Haven; a son William P. Webber, Schuylkill Haven; grandchildren Kevin Geary (Jess), Cindie Burke (Jonathan), Jodie Wilson (Zach), Jen Bachert (Kyle) and William P. Webber, Jr. (Nicole); great grandchildren Hunter Jones, Paisleigh Wilson, Kellie Geary, Emilie Geary, Kevin Geary, Jr., Mina Burke, Elliot Burke, Sophia Webber and Mariah Litton; numerous nieces and nephews including Doretta Carriglitto and Herman "Bob" Fligge.

He is also survived by his beloved German Shephard, Duke.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved the outdoors, playing cards and trips to the casino.

In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by an infant daughter Janet Webber, brothers Kenneth, Claude, Richard, Clarence, Nelson and Wilbert; sisters Dora Fligge and Ellenora Donton.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held 2:30 on Saturday, November 7th at St John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, in Friedensburg, with Pastor Darryl Martin and Pastor Jason Ruppert officiating.

A viewing for family and friends will be held 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM on Saturday, November 7th at the Church.

Interment will be private.

Stanley J. Nebistinsky
left this world on November 2, 2020 to enter into his eternal home in Heaven after a long battle with chronic pain and Lewy Bode Dementia. His wish was to remain home with his loving wife, Terry who made that possible with the help of family.

Born January 9, 1951 in St. Clair to Stanley and Violet Nebistinsky.

Stan graduated from St. Clair High School and Penn State Main Campus with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice.

He held a variety of jobs including owning Rickshaw Limosine, owning his own taxi in NYC, a juvenile probation officer in Schuylkill County, and as a mental health case managet with SAM as his last employment before getting ill.

Stan was proud to acknowledge Jesus as his Savior after a troublesome life.

Stan served as Chaplin for our local Gideons International for over 20 years. Teaching Bible to inmates at the Schuylkill County Prison which was a highlight of his life.

Stan was an active soldier of The Salvation Army in Pottsville where he was proud to be part of Bible Studies, loved praising His Lord on Sunday mornings. He was gifted as a prayer warrior for many years where at one point he implemented a weekly prayer meeting on Thursdays. He also loved standing at Boyers in Pottsville during Christmas Kettles before his illness. He adored and respected his Pastors Envoys Brad and Gina Harris and enjoyed many deep conversations with his friend Brad and Gina always let Stan know he was her favorite.
He was a die hard Penn State fan and enjoyed Saturdays watching the game with his father in law Mel. Most times if you saw Stan he was wearing one of the many Penn State shirts from those who loved him.

Stan will be remembered as a loving grandfather, a kind soul who cared about everyone, especially those in need. He was generous in giving to his church and to others, always putting others before himself, and always praying for his son and step children on a daily basis for them to have happy, productive lives that please God.

Survivors include his loving wife Terry of 21 and a half years, sons Jake, Myersdale, Cody and his companion Anne, Pottsville, daughters Angela and her husband Peter McNulty, Pottsville and Amber and her companion Albert Menchefsky, St. Clair. His beautiful grandchildren Bryant (wife Hannah), Hailey, Cody Jr., Aubrey, Bentley, Cameron and Xander, brother Leonard Nebistinsky husband of Cheryl, Schuylkill Haven.

His wife Terry would like to extend gratitude to Compassus Hospice for providing such a great care in the last few weeks of Stan’s life. Contributions may be made to The Pottsville Salvation Army, 400 Sanderson Street, Pottsville PA 17901.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at The Salvation Army.

Ada M. Schneck, 93, of Waterfall Rd., Pine Grove, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at the Tremont Health & Rehab Center.

Born on December 28, 1926 in Lincoln, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Grace Koch Wertz.

She was a graduate of Tremont Twp. High School and Frankford Hospital School of Nursing, Philadelphia.

Ada was a Registered Nurse, having worked for Frankford Hospital, Philadelphia and private duty nursing.

She was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Ravine.

Preceding her in death were her husband Stanford L. Schneck; a brother Donald Wertz; two sisters, Violet Zimmerman and Dorothy Schwartz.

Surviving are a son, William Schneck and a granddaughter, Jolene Schneck, both of Pine Grove; nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services and interment will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. in St. Matthew's Lutheran Cemetery, Ravine with Rev. Cynthia Kennett officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA, 18 Wertz Dr.Pine Grove, Pa. 17963 in her memory.

Mark A. Hamilton
, 53, of Pottsville, passed away on Sunday in Minersville.

Born on March 28, 1967 in Doylestown, he was a son of the late Jack and Elaine Hamilton Landers. He was a 1985 graduate of Minersville High School and was last employed by Shalmet, Orwigsburg.

Mark embraced life, never giving up. He loved to laugh and always told stories that were larger than life, he always strived to put a smile on those around him. He always said that he thought laughter was the best medicine. He was an avid Steelers fan; and he enjoyed the outdoors while fishing, hunting, biking and running. But Mark’s greatest joy was found in his children, Markus Hamilton and Matthew Hamilton.

Surviving in addition to his two sons are five siblings, Pamela Cavanaugh (spouse, Michael), Philadelphia, Sherry Davis (spouse, Terry), Philadelphia, Greg Hamilton (spouse, Christine), Pottsville, Chuckie Hamilton (spouse, Chris), Pottsville, and Bridget Stine (spouse, Scott), Branchdale; nieces and nephews.

Gene D. Klinger
, 81, of Elizabethville, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at the Tremont Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Valley View, November 18, 1938, a son of the late Leon and Elva Harner Klinger.

Gene retired after 35 years with the former J.B. Shoe Factory, Millersburg. He was a self-employed contractor most of his life. Following retirement, Gene enjoyed working as a greeter at Wal-Mart, Elizabethville, where he made many friends.

In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting, bowling and racing go carts. He was also a member of the Harrisburg Builder's Association and the Tri-Valley CB club.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Joy Shadle and a brother, Leon Klinger, Jr.

Surviving are his loving wife of 60 years, Jean M. Leffler Klinger; a daughter, Tammy Neiswender and her husband David, Gratz; a son, Michael Klinger and his wife Paula, Duncannon; three sisters, Dorothy Yeich, Mechanicsburg; Diane Mausser, Hegins and Rose Frantz, Erdman; two brothers, James Klinger, Harrisburg and Rodney Klinger, Sacramento; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November, 11th at 11:30 am from Sweitzers Cemetery, Berrysburg with Rev. Mark Rothermel officiating. Lillian Slavitsky, 97, of Shenandoah, passed away on Wednesday, November 4th, 2020 at the Shenandoah Senior Living Community.

Born in Shenandoah Heights on December 14th, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary “Stankiewicz” Slavitsky.

Besides her parents, she was also preceded by a brother, Joseph Slavitsky.

A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, November 7th at 10:30am in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights and will be officiated by Pastor Mindy Heppe.
