The Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville are investigating a vehicle that was found burned in Mahanoy Township over the weekend.
According to Troopers, on Saturday, December 26th, 2020, around 4:40pm, a hunter discovered a burned vehicle in a remote location along a pole line, approximately 1 mile northeast of the village of Yatesville in Mahanoy Township.
The vehicle appeared to be an SUV but was heavily burned beyond recognition.
State Police are utilizing additional resources in an attempt to identify the origins of the vehicle.
