Fire Crews Responding to Working House Fire in Tamaqua

Late Wednesday, fire crews in Tamaqua were responding to a working house fire.

Just before 9:00pm, fire crews were called to 31 North Railroad Street, in Tamaqua for a house fire.

Radio reports that Tamaqua Police were first on scene and confirmed a working fire and all occupants had evacuated.

Multiple buildings may be involved.  

UPDATE (9:05pm) - 2nd Alarm Struck

UPDATE (9:07pm) - Tamaqua Units on-scene, interior crews advised there is a fire in the basement below them.  Two RIT teams have been called.  One from Mahanoy City, didn't catch the 2nd RIT Team.

UPDATE (9:10pm) - Evacuation order given to all firefighters.

UPDATE (9:12pm) - Defensive attack only from the exterior.
