Cody James Troutman, 34, of Pine Grove, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at home.

Born on January 10, 1986 in Lebanon, he was a son of Myrl and Dana Schneck Troutman of Pine Grove.

He was a 2004 graduate of Pine Grove High School and 2006 graduate of Penn Tech, Williamsport.

He was a member of Hetzel's UCC.

Cody worked at Fleetwood Fixtures.

All Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Gladys Grace Luckenbill, 89 of Pine Grove, passed away on Friday, December 4, at her home.

Born on June 18, 1931, in Pine Grove, she was the daughter of the late Norman R. Balthaser, Sr., and Mildred Lengel Balthaser.

Gladys was a 1949 graduate of Pine Grove High School and a graduate of Central Penn Business School.

She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove, where she had been a former Sunday School teacher and secretary.

Gladys was an avid Phillies Fan and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and word finds.

Preceding her in death were her husband of 62 years, Chester "Jimmy" Luckenbill, on November 25, 2015, and a brother, Norman R. Balthaser, Jr.

Surviving are four children, Rodney & wife Barbara Luckenbill, Barbara, wife of Stephen Hikes, and James & wife Betty Luckenbill, all of Pine Grove, and Debra wife of Jack Umholtz of Valley View; 9 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren, and her Precious Cat Gracie.

Graveside Services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family, in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery with Pastor Brian Beissel officiating.

The family would prefer, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the St. Peter's Lutheran Church General Fund, 312 S. Tulpehocken St. Pine Grove, PA 17963, in her memory.

Catherine J. "Jean" Shaker
, age 91, of Delano, passed away Friday night at Broad Mountain Nursing & Rehabilitation in Frackville. 

Born In Mahanoy City, she was the daughter of the late David & Mary (Brimlow) Powell. She was a 1946 graduate of Mahanoy City High School. She worked as a waitress all of her life and last worked for the Mahanoy City Elks club. She was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed attending all the local Bingo games. She was a member of Faith United Church of Christ in Delano. 

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband Andrew Shaker, brothers Bill, Bob "Popeye" and sisters Eleanor and Nancy. Survivors include 2 daughters Donna Johnson and her husband Roy of Delano, Kathleen Ney of Arizona, 2 sons Theodore of Pottsville and Mark and his wife Susan of Delano, a sister Mary Lou Sweet of Mahanoy City, grandchildren Heather Najda and her husband Michael, Andrew Shaker, Cody Shaker and his wife Gabriella, Harry and Derek Sparr and Nicole Ney and great grandchildren Kaylin Najda, Payton and Ben Shaker and Rhett Shaker. 

Services will be privately held from David D. Jarrett Funeral Home of Mahanoy City with the Rev. Robert B. Peiffer officiating. Interment will follow in Sky View Memorial Park in Hometown.

James Francis Brady
, age 83, of Saint Clair passed away Saturday, December 5th, 2020 at his home.

Born in Heckshersville, PA on December 13, 1926, he was the son of the late James and Genevieve (Bergan) Brady.

Jim was a graduate of Saint Clair High School, Class of 1955. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1955 till 1959.

Jim was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church in St. Clair, a lifetime member of the Phoenix Hose Company, and he served several years as secretary for the Borough of Saint Clair's Firemen's Relief Association. Jim loved going to the casino and to the horse races, especially the triple crown races.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Raymond Brady and a sister Mary Jane Reed.

Jim is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dolores; sons: James and his companion Melissa Leahy, Thomas, Timothy and his wife Clair, and David; four granddaughters: Genevieve, Hope, Emma, and Grace; two great-granddaughters: Isabelle and Evelyn; a brother Frank Brady; a brother-in-law Walter "Butch" Reed; a niece; and nephews.

Funeral Service and interment will be held private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Clair of Assisi Church Memorial Fund 250 East Hancock St., Saint Clair, PA 17970.
