American Red Cross Assisting Family of Five After Fire in Shenandoah

The American Red Cross is assisting a family of 5 after a fire in Shenandoah Monday evening.

Just after 8:30pm, Monday, emergency personnel were dispatched to 322 West Penn Street, Shenandoah, for a house fire.

As crews arrived they found smoke coming from the home and alerted they had a working fire.

Firefighters found flames in the basement of the home and had the fire under control within an hour.

A family of five was not home at the time of the fire and the cause is still under investigation.

AccrThe American Red Cross is assisted the family which includes two adults and three children.
