A volunteer firefighter was recognized Tuesday evening for his recent heroic effort in saving a man's life during a fire.
During Mahanoy City Borough's monthly meeting, Bill Killian, a member of the Humane Fire Company, was honored for a saving a man's life during a fire on West South Street in the borough on December 31st, 2020.
Bill was presented with a letter of recognition from both the Borough of Mahanoy City and Senator Argall's office for his act.
