Schuylkill County Historical Society Welcomes New Board Members

The Schuylkill County Historical Society has welcomed two new members. Danielle Laudeman and “12 Volt” Dave Clews.

The appointments, which took effect in January, came after Jean Dellock and Al Frantz stepped down from the board, although both will remain active at the Society.

A Ringtown resident, Laudeman is the events and marketing director for the Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce. She oversees all of the organization’s events and manages its internal and external communications, including its website and the monthly Schuylkill Communicator.

Clews, who owns 12 Volt Dave’s Audio, is a Pottsville city councilman, president of the Pottsville Business Association and treasurer of Schuylkill County Relays.

“We are thrilled to have Danielle and Dave on our board,” said Executive Director Diana Promsymchak, “and we are grateful that we’ll continue to benefit from Jean and Al’s considerable talents.”

Frantz chairs the Society’s Building & Grounds Committee. He helped install our security cameras and does minor repairs and maintenance.

Dellock, who was board secretary, is the Society’s library and head researcher. She helps visitors trace their local roots and has compiled several books of genealogical records.
