According to Mahanoy City Police, around 5:00am, Monday, officers responded to the 1000 block of East Centre Street for a report of at least 3 parked cars that were struck by a passing vehicle.
The driver abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene.
Later, Police located the driver, Nathaniel Lehman, 28, of Shenandoah walking along Route 54 between Mahanoy City and Shenandoah.
Lehman was taken into custody, processed and released.
Mahanoy City Police will file multiple traffic and drug related charges on Lehman through Magisterial District Judge Anthony Kilker's office.
