State Police Looking for Suspect Involved in Separate Pursuits in Schuylkill County Last Week

The Pennsylvania State Police are looking for a man that led them on two separate pursuits in Schuylkill County last week.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police, on Friday, January 22nd, 2021, around 12:05am, a traffic stop was attempted on a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 125 in Tremont.

As Troopers approached the vehicle the driver began to flee. The vehicle continued to drive erratically and at a high rate of speed down interstate 81. Troopers called off the chasae due to public safety concerns that arose during the pursuit.

Approximately 2 hours later the vehicle was seen traveling on Route 61 in North Manheim Township. Again, when emergency lights and sirens were activated the vehicle began traveling erratically and at a high rate of speed through local boroughs. The pursuit again was called off due to public safety concerns that arose during the pursuit.

The vehicle was described as a black Nissan 300zx with purple trim around the bottom and a red transformers decal on the rear above the registration plate.

The suspect is a white male approximately 45-60 years in age with long hair that was worn in a ponytail with a clean shaved face.
