Driver Loses Control of Tractor Trailer; Narrowly Misses Home in Gordon

A tractor trailer driver narrowly missed a home in Gordon on Thursday evening.

Around 5:30pm, emergency personnel were called to area of  210 West Biddle Street, Gordon for motor vehicle accident.

The first fire chief to arrive on-scene found a tractor trailer stuck in the snow in the yard of 210 West Biddle.

It was determined that the driver of the tractor trailer was travelling down Gordon Mountain Road/East Plane Street and lost control.  In an attempt to stop, the driver drove the rig through the yard of home across from 210, then crossed West Biddle Street until coming to a stop within feet of the home.

The driver was not injured but the tractor sustained minor damage.

Responding to the scene were members of the Gordon Fire Department, Gordon Fire Police, and Butler Township Police.
