CLOSURES
Boyer's Markets - All Boyer's Market locations will closed at 1:00pm on Monday, February 1st, 2021
Fairlane Village Mall - CLOSED Monday
Mahanoy City Borough Office - CLOSED
Redner's Markets - All locations closing at 5:00pm, Monday, February 1st, 2021
Schuylkill Transportation System - STS will suspend Service on Tuesday February 2, 2021 due to heavy snow from the winter storm. There will be no Shared Ride Van Transportation or Fixed Route Bus Service on Tuesday February 2, 2021.

Snow Ban/Emergencies
ASHLAND - The borough of Ashland has declared a snow emergency that will be in effect from 2:00am, Monday, February 1st, 2021 through 6:00am, Wednesday, February 2nd, 2021.
Parking will be prohibited on Hoffman Boulevard from Brock Street to Centre Street and Centre Street from Front Street to 23rd Street.
Residents are ordered to moved their vehicles from these locations during the emergency.
Any vehicles that are not moved from the above locations will be fined $50 and towed away at the owner's expense.

FRACKVILLE - Frackville Borough has declared a snow emergency for the impending snowstorm forecasted to begin on Sunday, January 31st. This snow emergency will go into effect at 4:00 PM Sunday, January 31, 2021 and last until the end of the storm. Significant snowfall is forecasted and locally we could receive over 12 inches of snow as a result of this storm.
Parking will be PROHIBITED during the snow emergency along all snow emergency routes which are:
- North and South Lehigh Ave. (entire length from Borough Line to Borough Line)
- East and West Oak St. (entire length from Borough Line to Borough Line)
Any vehicle remaining parked on the snow emergency route after 4:00 PM Sunday will be TICKETED and TOWED.

GIRARDVILLE - Attention Girardville Residents, with the upcoming snow storm the Girardville Snow Removal Plan is in effect. "Day 1" will conclude at 6:00pm Tuesday, February 2nd, 2021. We will then move into "Day 2" of this plan on Wednesday, February 3rd, 2021.

HEGINS TOWNSHIP - The Hegins Township Board of Supervisors has declared a snow emergency as defined in their ordinance for all designated snow routes effective from 12:00 a.m., Monday, February 1, 2021 through 8:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 2, 2021. There will be no parking on snow emergency routes during this time.
The township has designated the following snow emergency routes: (1) Sunset Road, (2) West Maple Street, (3) Broad Street between Hemlock Drive and Main Street, (4) Fairlane Road, (5) Vista Road between West Maple Street and Main Street, (6) Division Street, and (7) West Maple Street between Vista Road and Division Street.

KLINE TOWNSHIP - The Kline Township Supervisors have issued s snow parking ban to start on Sunday, January 31st, 2021 at 12:00pm and will be in effect until Tuesday, February 2nd, 2021 at 12:00pm. There is No Parking on the even side of streets and the ban will be enforced by the Police.

MAHANOY CITY - According to Mahanoy City Police, a snow emergency will be in effect from Midnight, Monday Morning, February 1st, 2021 until Tuesday, February 2nd, 2021 at 7:00am. There will be no parking on both sides of Center Street, both sides of Main Street from Spruce Street to the northern Borough line, and ALL of South Street during that time frame..

MECHANICSVILLE - Snow Emergency with be in effect as of 6:00pm, Sunday, January 31,2021 and remain in effect until 6:00pm, Tuesday, February 2nd, 2021.

MINERSVILLE - Due to the expected severe winter weather and chance of a significant accumulation of snow, the Borough of Minersville has declared a Snow Emergency. The Snow Emergency will be from 6 p.m., Sunday, January 31, 2021 until 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2021.
There will be NO PARKING on Sunbury, Front and S Third Streets during this time. Any vehicles parked on these streets will be ticketed and towed at the owners’ expense. This declaration is to allow our plow trucks to maintain a wide travel lane for traffic (this declaration is not for snow removal). Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

PORT CARBON - Mayor Herndon has announced a snow emergency parking ban starting at Sunday, January 31, 2021 at 6:00pm until Tuesday, February 2nd, 2021 at 5:00pm. All vehicles will need to be removed from the streets listed in the Facebook post below.

POTTSVILLE - Snow Emergency Level 2 with Parking Ban - will be in effect as of 6:00pm, Sunday, January 31, 2021 and will remain in effect until 6:00am, Tuesday, February 2, 2021.

SAINT CLAIR - Saint Clair Mayor Richard Tomko has instituted parking restrictions for the forecasted snowstorm. There will be no parking the entire length of Second Street and the entire length of Hancock Street from 6:00pm Sunday, January 31st, 2021 until 6:00pm, February 2, 2021 Tuesday.

SCHUYLKILL HAVEN - all parking is prohibited until further notice on the following posted snow emergency streets: Main Street, Dock Street, Parkway, Columbia street, and North and South Bern.

SHENANDOAH - Per Mayor Andrew Szczyglak - Snow Emergency has been declared. The Snow Emergency will be from 6:00pm Sunday, January 31, 2021 until 6:00pm Tuesday, February 2, 2021.
There will be no parking along Main Street from Washington Street to Laurel Street and on Centre Street from White Street to West Street.
Vehicles not moved will be ticketed and towed.

NATIVITY BVM- Girls BB - Monday’s Girls Varsity only Basketball game vs. Mahanoy Area has been postponed to February 16th @ Nativity.

- Swimming vs. Schuylkill Haven - Rescheduled to 2/8 @ 4:30
- Wrestling @ North Schuylkill - Reschedule to 2/5, Varsity- 6:00pm, JH to follow, Varsity will then wrestle again following JH.
- Girls Basketball @ Nativity - Rescheduled to 2/16 @ 6:00 Varsity Only
- All events for Tuesday, February 2 have been postponed, rescheduled dates will be posted once they are confirmed.
