UPDATE: Police Release Photo of Suspect that Fled Police After Pursuit Ended near Ringtown

Locust Township Police have released the photo and identity of a suspect that fled police on foot near Ringtown.

According to Locust Township Police and CrimewatchPA, on March 7, 2021 at approximately 4:45 AM, the Locust Township Police Department made contact with a suspicious vehicle at the Numidia Community Park in Locust Township.

The male occupying the vehicle identified himself as William Rossman. It was determined that the male provided false identification to law enforcement and his actual name was Clarence Rossman.

Rossman then became argumentative with the officer before fleeing in his vehicle.

Numerous departments from Columbia, Schuylkill and Northumberland County assisted this department in attempting to locate Rossman, including tracking him with a K9 from Bloomsburg Police.

Rossman was not located and may still be in the Ringtown Area.

He is described as a light skinned black male, approximately 5' 9" tall and 160lbs, wearing a navy blue jacket and a black winter hat.

In addition to pending felony charges out of this department, Rossman is wanted for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Possession of Dangerous Drugs.
