According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, charges have been filed against an Orwigsburg man after he stole thousands of dollars from someone in Rush Township.
Troopers say Matthew Taylor, 28, of Orwigsburg met up with the victim on Tuscarora Park Road for the sale of a motorcycle he advertised on Facebook Marketplace.
At the meeting location, Taylor arrived in his Jeep and was handed $8,000. While counting the cash, Taylor decided to flee with the victims cash without ever producing the motorcycle.
State Police say they have filed theft charges against Taylor.
