Shenandoah Man Apprehended After Threatening to Burn Home Down

A Shenandoah man was taken into custody after making threats earlier this week.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, on Thursday, April 1st, 2021 around 9:15am, Troopers attempted to serve a PFA warrant on North West Street in Shenandoah for a Michael Teaschenko, 43.

Contact was made with Teaschenko at his home, who then slammed the front door on Troopers.  

Teaschenko then began threatening to burn his house down and refused to come out of the home or let police inside.

Forcible entry was made on the home and Teaschenko was taken into custody.
