Firefighters are at the scene of a house fire in Pottsville on Friday afternoon.
Around 12:00 pm, Friday, City Fire Departments were called to 16 York Farm Road, in the Yorkville section of Pottsville for a reported house fire.
As firefighters arrived, they found heavy smoke coming from the rear of the home.
Multiple surrounding community fire departments have been called to scene to assist or move up to stations to cover the city.
As of 12:50pm, crews were still working to bring the fire under control.
The American Red Cross was already called to possibly assist 7 people.
UPDATE: The fire was marked under control at 1:20pm.
