Shenandoah Valley Drama Club to Present "A Night of Dream Roles: A Music Video Production"


This weekend, the Shenandoah Valley Drama Club will present a non-traditional production of their yearly performance.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the club with hold and online only event called "A Night of Dream Roles: A Music Video Production."

The club's creative team decided on this option in order to keep all members of the club and staff safe during the pandemic allowing them to rehearse the students virtually with music, character development, choreography, and story boarding student’s individual videos for their final production numbers. 

Students were asked to submit an audition piece of their “dream role” in which they would like to create a video for the production. Together with the creative team the students produced a music video featuring themselves in their dream role. There are several solos, duets, and one large group number from various musical productions.

Students have been working of this production since early January and the video will premiere on Friday May 21st at 7:00 PM. Additional viewing times will be Saturday, May 22nd at 7:00PM and Sunday May 23rd at 2:00 PM. This production can be viewed safely in the comfort of your own homes! Tickets are free but are required to obtain the website address where the video will be aired.
