Albert L. "Butch" Ditzler
, age 76, of Pottsville, PA , passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side after a courageous battle with two cancers for nine months on Friday, April 30th, 2021 at his home.

Born in Pottsville, PA on June 21, 1944, he was the son of the late Norman Ditzler Sr and Margaret (Nace') Meador.

Albert worked as a truck driver for Trail Towing in Minersville for over 30 years. He was a member of the Buck Fever Rod and Gun Club and the former Fraternal Order of the EAGLES in Pottsville. Albert loved music, playing his guitar, and having a good time.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Norman Ditzler Jr.

Albert is survived by his wife of 41 years, Mary E. (Martin) Ditzler, Pottsville; daughter Michelle Kalbach and her husband Kevin, Pottsville; daughter Mary Heffelfinger and her husband Ken, Brandonville; son Christopher Ditzler, Pottsville; son Albert "Pete" Ditzler Jr; daughter Tracy Yeastadt; daughter Trisha Ditzler-Mika; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services and Interment will be held private.

Pamela M. Schoenfelder
, age 65, of Pottsville, PA passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday April 21st, 2021 at Schuylkill Center in Pottsville.

Born in San Francisco, CA on August 19, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Patricia (Taylor) Bainbridge.

Pamela was a 1973 graduate of Mahanoy City High School. She was married to William "Bo" Schoenfelder for over 20 years. She loved going to the beach and had a green thumb taking care of her plants, but most of all she loved being a grandmother. She spent most of her time crafting and writing notes to her beloved grandchildren. She loved music, especially good classic rock. She was so proud of her children and grandchildren. She loved to laugh and share fun stories of them with all who would listen. She had a huge heart and she will be missed by those who loved her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded by two of her brothers Ronald Bainbridge and William Bainbridge

Pamela is survived by a daughter Amy Minchoff and her husband Charlie Jr, Auburn, PA; a son Will Schoenfelder and his companion Jennifer Godfrey, Gettysburg, PA; five grandchildren Elizabeth and Dominic Minchoff and Marley Godfrey and Gavin and Grayson Schoenfelder; three brothers: Fred Bainbridge, Minersville; James Bainbridge, OK; and Bruce Bainbridge, Philadelphia; sister Patricia "Elaine" Bainbridge, Pittsburgh; and nieces and nephews.

A Religious Service will be held at the Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home in Port Carbon at 12noon on Friday, May 7th, with Regnal Leibensperger officiating.

Relatives and Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday morning from 10-12noon at the Funeral Home.

George F. Kovalich
, 68, formerly of Easton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Beebe Healthcare, of Lewes, DE. He was the significant other of many years to Christine Conover. Prior, he was husband to the late Beverly “Bobby” (Paciucci) Kovalich, until her passing on July 2, 1992. George was born on August 28, 1952 in Danville, PA. He was the son of the late George and Helen (Pahucke) Kovalich. George graduated from Shenandoah Valley High School in 1970, where he played football and baseball. He received his bachelor’s degree from Millersville State University in 1974. He worked at Johnson & Johnson for 25 years in ortho clinical diagnostics until his retirement in 2008. True to his Slovak heritage, he enjoyed eating pierogies and kelbasi. He loved playing cards, reading, hunting for deer, and gardening. George enjoyed traveling and taking walks on the beach. He was an avid Penn State and Yankee’s fan. George was a loving father and grandfather who had a heart of gold.

In addition to his significant other, Christine, he will be deeply missed by son, Mathew Kovalich and wife Anna and their son, Charles, of Springfield, VA; brother, Jack Kovalich and wife Rebecca, of NC; brother-in-law, Joseph Paciucci and wife Sue, of Nazareth; Christine’s son, David Conover and wife Jennifer and their children, Claire, Miles, and Kate, of Hoboken, NJ.

Family and friends of George are invited to a walkthrough visitation on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 from 9:00-10:30 AM at the Joseph F. Reichel Funeral Home Inc., 220 Washington Park, Nazareth, PA 18064. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Church, 410 W. Center St., Nazareth. Burial will take place at Holy Family Cemetery, of Nazareth. At all times, social distancing will be practiced, along with the requirement of wearing face masks. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in George’s memory to “American Cancer Society” and mailed to: P.O. Box 22478 Oklahoma City, OK 73123. Kenneth H. Noecker
, 90, of Cressona, passed away Friday, April 30th, at his residence.

Born in Schuylkill Haven, on September 25, 1930, a son of the late Edna (Swoyer) and Charles Noecker.

He was the widower of Helen E. (Weaver) Noecker, who passed away in 2013.

He was a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Schuylkill Haven.

He served in the U.S. Navy and was a self employed plumber for 42 years.

In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by a brother Lester Noecker and sisters Evelyn Houser and Eleanor Schwenk.

He is survived by sons, Lincoln A. and wife, Barbara, Gilbertsville, David L. and wife, Debbie, Pottsville, and Mark S., Orwigsburg; daughters, Ruth A., Cressona, and Christine Ellex and husband, Gary Ellex Jr., Montoursville; grandchildren Stephanie Noecker (Sean Hampford), Melissa Noecker (William Dombrowski), Michael Noecker, Jason Noecker, Kenneth Ellex (Keziah Meyers), Meghann Ellex (Jesse Killian) and Mary Ellex; great-grandchildren Everly, Hailey, Ella, Grace, Ethan, Liam and Malia; a brother Sterling Noecker; and a sister Grace Kopko.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at Jerusalem Lutheran Church in Schuylkill Haven, on Thursday, May 6 at 10:30 am with Rev. David Rowe officiating.

A viewing for family and friends will be held prior from 9:30 am until the time of the service at the Church.

At the family's request, memorial donations may be forwarded to Jerusalem Lutheran Memorial Fund 252 Dock Street Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972.

Interment at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
