Sheppton Home Broken into by Drunk Couple on ATV

The Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville are investigating a break-in at a home in East Union Township over the weekend.

According to Troopers, the burglary, which occurred on West Pine Street, Sheppton, was reported to police around 4:00pm, on Sunday, May 2nd, 2021.

During the burglary, two suspects, a male and a female, arrived at the home on an ATV, both appearing to be intoxicated.

The female suspect reportedly laid on the front porch of the home and attempted to open the front door unsuccessfully.

The male suspect went to a side entrance of the home and forced open a double-door, pulling the left hinge screws out of the door jam.  Both suspects entered the home through the side door.

Police say both suspects left through the front door almost immediately, did no further damage, and didn't take anything.

The pair got back onto their ATV and left on the ATV heading east on Pine Street.
