Late Wednesday night, firefighters responded to an attic fire in Hegins.
Just after 10:30pm, emergency personnel were called to 545 East Main Street for a reported house fire with a fire in the attic.
The first chief on scene reported heavy smoke coming from the third floor of the home and called in a working fire.
The fire was brought under control within the hour with all crews clearing the scene just after midnight.
