McAdoo Police Investigating Stabbing, Victim Flown

The McAdoo Police Department is investigating a stabbing they say occurred Friday evening.

According to police, on July 9, 2021 around 10:40pm, the McAdoo Police were on duty and were called for a stabbing victim in the area of Kennedy Drive and Jackson Street.

A male was found stabbed in the lower abdomen and through a translator police were only able to gather that the victim was walking in the street and then was stabbed.

The suspect was said to be a male and a vehicle was possibly involved and seen leaving the area. No other details were provided at the time by the victim.

He was transported by EMS to the landing zone in McAdoo where he was flown to a hospital for further treatment.

McAdoo Police were assisted on scene by the Rush Township and Girardville Police Departments.

Police have reason to believe the incident may have started or occurred in the 100 block of E. Blaine Street. Anybody with information is asked to call the McAdoo Police at 570-929-2590.
