Six Adults and Three Children Being Assisted by the American Red Cross After Minersville Fire

Nine people are being assisted by the American Red Cross after a fire Tuesday morning in Minersville.

Just after 6:00am, Tuesday, emergency personnel were called to 423 North Street, Minersville, for a working house fire.

The fire damaged the properties of 423, 421, and 419.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

According to the American Red Cross, they were called to the scene and are assist 9 people, 6 adults, and 3 children with lodging, food, and clothing.

Minersville Mayor Sean Palmer posted the following commending Minersville Patrolman Tim Walsh for saving one of the victim's from a 2nd Floor bedroom window.
