Two from Schuylkill County Plead Guilty to Methamphetamine Trafficking in Federal Court


Two from Schuylkill County pleaded guilty to methamphetamine trafficking in federal court this week.

The United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced that Tyler Kegolis, 34, formerly of Frackville, and David Collazo, 34, formerly of Girardville pleaded guilty this week before a U.S. District Court Judge to distribution of crystal methamphetamine.

According to Acting United States Attorney Bruce D. Brandler, Kegolis and Collazo admitted to distributing highly pure crystal methamphetamine in the Schuylkill County area between December 2018 and February 2019.

This matter was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Pennsylvania State Police, and the Schuylkill County Drug Task Force. Assistant U.S. Attorney Robert J. O’Hara is prosecuting the case.

Sentencing will be scheduled at a later date.
