A tractor trailer fire has closed Route 61 southbound on Wednesday afternoon.
Around 1:30pm, Wednesday, emergency personnel were called to a tractor trailer fire in the southbound lanes of Route 61 near Penske in North Manheim Township.
Fire crews arrived to find the cab fully involved.
The driver of the truck was reported to have escaped uninjured.
Route 61 remains closed while the scene is cleared and northbound is narrowed to one lane.
