Kathleen Marie Kruczek
, 75, of Lake Hauto, PA died on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at home. She was the wife of Walter E. Kruczek with whom she celebrated 52 years of marriage in January. 

Born in Palmerton, PA on August 9, 1946, Kathleen was a daughter of the late Nicholas P. and Grace (Carr) Beyrent. A 1964 graduate of Marian High School, she graduated from East Stroudsburg State College in 1968 and completed graduate courses at Penn State Extension. Kathleen taught in the high school of the Owen J. Roberts School District, Pottstown, PA. When she moved back to Tamaqua, she worked for the Beyrent Insurance Agency which was her family’s business. Kathleen was a member of The Parish of St. John XXIII, Tamaqua; a founding member of the Tamaqua Beautification Committee; a member of the Tamaqua YMCA Board; and active at the Tamaqua Arts Center. She enjoyed skiing and followed Penn State basketball. Kathleen had a soft spot for animals and was especially fond of dogs and rabbits. 

In addition to her husband, Walter, she is survived by sons, Geoff and his wife Audrey of Alexandria, VA and Gregory of State College, PA; grandchildren, Sarah and Jason; sister, Mary Agolino of West Pittston, PA; and several nephews and nieces. 

Kathleen was predeceased by brother-in-law, Joseph. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorials in Kathleen’s name may be made to either the Hillside SPCA, 51 SPCA Road, PO Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901 or the Tamaqua Public Library, 30 South Railroad Street, Tamaqua, PA 18252.

Jeanette M. Lohin, 83, of Minersville, died Saturday, August 21st, at home, with her family by her side.

Jeanette was born in Pottsville on September 26, 1937, a daughter of the late Anne (Metrick) and Edward Giemza.

She was a graduate of St. Clair High School, Class of 1955, and earned a Registered Nurse Diploma from the Reading Hospital School of Nursing in 1958. She was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Minersville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Theodore in 2006, and Francis and Edward in infancy.

Jeanette is survived by her husband of 58 years, Paul, a daughter Joanne, wife of Raymond Lavenberg (Collegeville PA), sons, Robert Lohin (Minersville) and Michael, husband of Jennifer Lohin (Hyndman PA).

Jeanette is also survived by a sister, Kathy, wife of Ronald Smiley,

grandchildren, Laura, wife of Brian Fitzgerald, Brian Lavenberg & his fiancée Kelly Hartley, Alex and Thomas Lohin, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

All Services are private and at the convenience of family.

Mark P. Rissinge
r, age 70, of Sacramento, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021 at his residence.

He was born on August 25, 1950, in Philadelphia, a son of the late Robert and Mary Downey Rissinger.
He was a graduate of Tri Valley High School, Class of 1968.

Mark worked many years as maintenance/groundskeeper for Hidden Valley Golf Course, Pine Grove.
He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Sacramento.

He is survived by his wife Darlene, to whom he was married for 52 years.

Musically inclined from the age of 14, Mark was in several bands over the years, including The Royal Devils; The Four Counts; Special Delivery; Montray; and he also sang Christmas music for the Sacramento Santa Parade for over 10 years.

He is also survived by two sons, Chuck and wife Karin Rissinger; Mike Rissinger and fiancé Terri LeVan, all of Sacramento; grandson, Kirk Rissinger of Campbell, NY; grandchild, Florian Spece of Kutztown; two brothers, Matt and wife Maggie Rissinger of Audobon; Luke and wife Kay Rissinger of Pottsville; two step sisters, several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Sacramento, on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Raymond W. Holland III, officiating.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday at St. Paul's United Church of Christ.
