Officials closed a portion of Route 901 in Northumberland County on Tuesday morning.
Just after 11:00am, Tuesday, emergency personnel were called to closed down Route 901 from Coal Township (in the area of Route 61) to Mount Carmel Township (in the area of Rock N Block) due a hole in the roadway.
No information has been provided on the size or exact location of the hole, but the roadway is being closed until further notice.
