Parade Route/Parking Restrictions for Saturday's Firefighters Convention Parade in Minersville

Information on the parade route and parking restrictions in Minersville for Saturday's Schuylkill County Volunteer Firefighters Association Parade.

NO PARKING
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 11, 2021
10 a.m - 4 p.m.

On Saturday, September 11, 2021, the Schuylkill County Volunteer Firefighters Association will be holding a convention in the Borough of Minersville. There will be a large number of fire trucks, bands, etc., participating in this parade.

Prior to the parade, there will be NO PARKING on the following streets for parade staging:

• 6th St from North St to Sunbury St
• 5th St from North St to Field Rd
• North St from Delaware Ave to Sixth St
• Lewis St from 5th St to 6th St
• 3rd St from Lewis to North St
• Holy Family Parish parking lot on Lewis St.

Buses and Bands staging will be the Stadium Parking Lot

Parade Route (begins at 1:30 p.m. - approximately 3:30 p.m.) and will use the following route:

• Starting at 6th St and proceed down Sunbury St, across River St, up North St and concluding on 5th St.

THERE WILL BE NO PARKING ON THE FOLLOWING STREETS ON THE PARADE ROUTE:

• 6th St from North to Sunbury St
• Sunbury St from 6th St to River St
• River St from Sunbury to N Delaware Ave
• North St from N Delaware Ave to 5th St.
