Pine Grove Man Facing Charges After Assaulting Neighbor and Burglarizing Camp Site

A Pine Grove man is facing charges after an incident at a campground this week.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, on Thursday, September 23rd, 2021, around 9:15pm, Troopers were dispatched to Camp Road at the Echo Valley Campground in Tremont Township for a report of a disturbance.

At the scene, police learned that Zachary Fidler, 36, of Pine Grove burglarized, assaulted the occupant of the neighboring campsite, then fled the scene.

Troopers took Fidler into custody next door and charged him with burglary, criminal trespass, simple assault, and harassment.

Fidler was locked up in Schuylkill County Prison after being arraigned by on-call Magisterial District Judge Anthony J. Kilker unable to post the set $25,000 straight cash bail.
