Catherine "Penny" Regnier, 73, of Minersville entered the gates of Heaven Wednesday morning at St. Luke's/Geisinger-Orwigsburg with her sons Russ and Devo at her side.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11o'clock Monday morning, September 20 at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, Minersville. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 9 o'clock until the time of the Mass. Private interment will be held on the grounds of the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

Kathryn R. Hepler
, 91, of Suedberg Rd., Pine Grove, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Providence Place in Pine Grove.

Born on July 7, 1930 in Williamstown, she was a daughter of the late Jeremiah A. and Rebecca Fesig Nace.

She was a 1948 graduate of Williamstown High School.

Kathryn was a Representative for Avon for 35 years.

She was a member of and Past Matron of the former Mary E. Moore Chapter 372 O.E.S.

Kathryn was a member of several bowling leagues at Pine Lanes, Pine Grove and loved camping and playing card games. She took pride in her gardens and flowers she had planted around her home.

Preceding her in death were her husband of 58 years, Harold H. Hepler; two brothers, Elwood A. Nace and Earl Luchenbach; three sisters, Mae James, Ruth Nolan, and Alice Fagan.

Surviving are her son, Ronald E. and wife Jeanie Hepler of Pine Grove; three grandchildren, Ronald E. Hepler, Jr. and Jessica and husband Joseph C. Matuella, both of Pine Grove, Denis and wife Mila Korolev of Russia; three great grandchildren, Joseph D. and Dominick Matuella and Diana Korolev.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove with Rev. Brian Beissel officiating. There will be a viewing on Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove.

In lieu of flowers the family would prefer contributions be made to the St. Peter's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund 312 S. Tulpehocken St. Pine Grove, PA 17963 in her memory.

James S. Kessler, 75, Ashland, passed away on Monday September 13th at Broad Mountain Nursing Home, Frackville.

Born in Ashland, he was a son of the late Kendell and Mary Catherine Willis Kessler.

Jim was a United States Army Veteran.

He is survived by his three brothers: John Kessler, Shenandoah, Joseph Kessler and his wife Jean Ann, Girardville and Kenneth Kessler, Girardville; his two sisters: Lila Shoup, Girardville and Ann Marie Kushwara and her husband Fred, Frackville; several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to his graveside service with military honors at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 21st at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Fountain Springs with Fr. Brian Miller officiating.

Cheryl A. Ruschak, 63, Frackville, passed away peacefully Friday evening at Muhlenberg Medical Center, Bethlehem.

Born in Pottsville she was a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Kanish Ruschak. She had been employed as a sales clerk for Kays and Littman Jewlery stores and formerly by Bell Telephone Company.

She was a devout member of Holy Ascension Orthodox Church, Frackville.

Cheryl is survived by her brother John “Rube” Ruschak, Frackville, her aunts Theresa Volosky, Elizabeth Ruschak Sullivan and Kathleen Kanish also by several cousins.

Private burial services were held at Holy Ascension Orthodox Church, Frackville with Very Rev. Archpriest James Jadick, pastor, as the celebrant. Interment was in the parish cemetery, Englewood, Frackville.

Vincent R. Cicero, 54, of Saint Clair, died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown.

Born Sept. 15, 1966, in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Frederick J. and Geraldine (Miller) Cicero.

Vincent worked as a self-employed general contractor.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Cicero.

Surviving are daughter, Shelby Cicero, Saint Clair; brothers, Frederick Cicero and his wife, Linda, Saint Clair, Michael Cicero, Saint Clair, and Richard Cicero, Saint Clair; three sisters, Deborah Cicero, Saint Clair, Lisa Callaghan, Heckscherville, and Tonya Cicero, Saint Clair; nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 19, from Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, 110 N. Second St., Saint Clair, with the Rev. Jack Murray officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to defray funeral costs.
