The Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating an incident where a piece of jewelry went missing.
According to Troopers, a Pottsville woman reported to police that she took her diamond engagement ring to the Dollar General Store inside the Cressona Mall for Fedex to pickup to send back for maintenance.
The woman told police that the ring was scanned into the store for pickup but was never scanned or picked up by Fedex.
The ring is described as a Clean Origin 14K Diamond Engagement ring valued at over $3,500.
Troopers said that the whereabouts of the ring are still unknown and the incident is still under investigation.
