A new arrangement for students to play golf for Mahanoy Area and Shenandoah Valley has exceeded expectations.
This year, Mahanoy Area and Shenandoah Valley initiated a Golf CoOp team that was composed of three students from Mahanoy Area and seven from Shenandoah Valley.
School officials say the team exceeded expectations by posting an impressive 15 wins and no losses. They also finished in third place in both the Schuylkill League and District 11 Championship Rounds.
