Harold B. Fisher
, 78, of Port Carbon, died Thursday, at Schuylkill Center, Pottsville.

He was born October 7, 1943 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Harold and Marjorie Fisher.

He was a 1961 graduate of Blue Mountain High School

He worked at Behler Patterns Inc, in Deer Lake, from his apprenticeship until his retirement in 2011, as a pattern maker.

Throughout his life Harold was a terrific horseman. In his spare time he rode and cared for horses. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles for most of his life. He was also was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and a highly skilled and specialized wood pattern maker.

Surviving are his daughter, Wendy Fisher Jochems and her husband Troy, Pottsville; a son, Edward Fisher and his wife Elisabeth, Silver Spring, MD; 2 grandchildren Ian and Noah Fisher who loved spending the night and hanging out with their Pop-pop; 3 sisters, Lee Fisher, Carolyn Gabriel, Dina Fisher and a brother, Thomas Biddle. Nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life visitation will be held Saturday from 12-2PM at James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville. The family request that anyone attending is to please wear a mask. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contribution in memory of Harold be made to Hillside SPCA PO Box 233 Pottsville, PA 17901.

Gregory H. Zaharick. 74, Deep Creek Road, Ashland, passed away October 6, 2021, at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, East Norwegian St., Pottsville. Born in Ashland, June 3, 1947, he is the son of Irene Felegy Zaharick, Girardville and the late John Zaharick. He was a graduate of the North Schuylkill High School, class of 1965, and was employed as a concrete finisher with the Laborers Local Union, #158, Lingelstown, until his retirement. Greg served in the U.S. Navy as an Aircraft Engine Service Mechanic, earning him the National Defense Metal.

He was a member of Christ’s United Lutheran Church, Airport Road, Ashland, the Ashland V.F.W. Post #7654, and the Good Fellowship Club, Ashland. Preceding him in death was his wife Sally, passing in 2018, a son, Richard, brother, Michael, an infant sister, Joan, and a grandson Izack Zaharick.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service, Thursday, October 21, 2021, at 11 AM in Christ’s United Lutheran Church, 437 Airport Road, Ashland. Officiating will be Rev. Danna Heckman Beil, pastor of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Ashland. Military honors at the church will be provided by the members of the Ashland V.F.W. Post 7654. Inurnment with Navy Honors will follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A calling time in the church will begin at 9 AM until service. Visit www.Fritzfuneralhome.com. The Richard W.
