William James Bonenberger, Sr., 90 years of age, of Clay Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Friday, November 19, 2021, at home while in the tender care of his wife Dolores Ann (Davidyock) Bonenberger.

Born Friday, January 16, 1931 in Brockton, Pennsylvania the son of the late Joseph, and Catherine (Schneider) Bonenberger. Bill was also predeceased by; first wife, Ida P. (Tenisci) Bonenberger on Sept. 19, 1998; sister, Marie McMullen; brothers, Joseph V., and Thomas Bonenberger.

Surviving are sons, William J. Bonenberger, and his wife Janet of Harleysville, David J. Bonenberger and his wife Francine of Tamaqua; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; three step children and their husbands also survive Bill along with nieces and nephews.

A 1948 graduate of the former St. Jerome R.C. High School, Tamaqua, Jim served honorably in the United States Army in Korea during the Korean War, and Army National Guard. Jim had retired from ALCOA of Cressona after 20 years of service, and worked in the maintenance Dept. for the Tamaqua Area High School.

A member of St. John XXIII R.C.C,, Tamaqua Legion for 54 years, and East End Fire Company of Tamaqua, Jim was an avid Bass fisherman having enjoyed many trips to Canada.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday November 23, 2021 at 10:30 A.M. from St. John XX III R.C.C. 307 Pine Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.

Friends may call on Monday evening November 22, 2021 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

Patricia Ann "Patsy" (Laurenti) Raeder
, beloved, mother, sister, grandmother, 78 years of age of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 18, 2021 while in the loving care of her daughter in Harrisburg.

Born Friday, July 9, 1943 in Coaldale the daughter of the late Livio V.J., and Hazel A. "Honey" (Schaefer) Laurenti.

Surviving are daughter, Jennifer Zehner and her husband Michael of Harrisburg, with whom she resided; son, Robert Raeder of Illinois; brother, Jan Laurenti of Tamaqua; sisters, Olivia Lee "Libby" Klingaman of Tamaqua, Gail L. Blessing of Mountain Top, PA; grandchildren, Brittany, Aaron, Shannon, Christi. Many nieces and nephews also survive Patsy.

A Tamaqua High School graduate, Patsy was a licensed cosmetologist having graduated from the Empire Beauty School of Hazleton. Patsy was a certified C.N.A. having worked at the former Coaldale State Hospital, retiring from Miner Memorial Medical Ctr. after many years of service. She was a member of Trinity U.C.C. of Tamaqua, and taught dance for many years in Tamaqua at the Pennsylvania Performing Arts Academy on Broad Street. Patsy loved animals, and was a doting grandmother.

A Funeral service will be at 7 o'clock P.M. on Tuesday November 23, 2021 from the funeral home. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:30 P.M. until time of services.

Grace J. Schuettler
, 93 of Pottsville, died Thursday night at Schuylkill Center, Pottsville.

She was born October 11, 1928 in Pottsville, a daughter of the late Harold and Carolyn Beacher Callaway

She was a graduate of Pottsville High School.

She was employed by the Pottsville Area School District as a secretary prior to retiring.

Grace was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville, where she was actively involved with Circle 5, Adult Sunday School and Kitchen Committee. She was volunteered her time at Luther Ridge Retirement Community, Pottsville.

She was preceded in death by her husband William C. Schuettler, Sr. on July 18, 2017; a sister, Doris Callaway; a brother, Gerald Callaway: Surviving are her son, William C. Schuettler, Jr. and his wife Susan, Port Carbon; a daughter, Susan Costello and her husband Tom, Lumberton, NJ: 4 grandchildren, Benjamin and Gregory Schuettler, Andera Thorn and Sara Costello; 1 great-grandson, Connor William Thron; 2 sisters, Jeanette Rodland and Joyce Fidance; nieces and nephews.

Services will be held 11AM Saturday Nov 27th from Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville, with Rev. Chris Rothharpt officiating. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 9-11AM Saturday at the church. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions in memory of Grace be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 300 W. Arch St. Pottsville, PA 17901. Interment will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Pottsville.

Arrangements are under the care of James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville.

Edward C Lucas
, age 98, of Hegins, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Shamokin Area Community Hospital.

He was born on Sunday, September 23, 1923, in Hegins, a son of the late H Clarence Lucas and the late Clara E (Yarnell) Lucas.

Ed worked on the family farm and later retired from the former Penn Reel, Hegins.

He was a member of St. John's "Kimmel's" Church, Ashland.

He was also a member of the Uf und Druf Hunting Camp and the White Ash Land Association both of Sullivan county.

Ed enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

His wife Janet P (Wedde) Lucas passed away in 2010. He was also preceded in death by his parents and by ten siblings.

He is survived by two daughters, Lois A Hinkel and her husband David of Ashland, and Barbara D Hinkel and her husband Gary of Ashland; four granddaughters, Melissa R Clemmer of Pitman, Jill R Herb of Pitman, Jennifer L Martin of New Oxford, and Jessica L Leibig of Ashland; a grandson, Travis E Hinkel of Ashland; ten great grandchildren; three sisters, Elva Lucas of Hegins, Phyllis Zeplin of Lancaster, and Gladys Maurer of Montana; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Bonnie Yeager officiating.

A viewing will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday at the funeral home.

Burial will be made in St. John's "Kimmel's" Cemetery, Ashland.

Memorial contributions can be made to St John's "Kimmel's" Church, 1263 Deep Creek Rd, Ashland PA 17921.
