David K. Mumma
, 95, of Pottsville, formerly of Farm View Rd., Schuylkill Haven, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021 in Providence Place, Pottsville.

Born on September 29, 1926 in Penn Twp., Lancaster Co., he was a son of the late Daniel Mumma and Stella Ruth Kulp Mumma Fry.

He was a member of the Schuylkill Church of the Brethren, Pine Grove.

David was a Carpenter and Plumber.

Preceding him in death were his wife of 73 years, Marian Wenger Mumma on November 6, 2021; and three sisters, Esther Heisey, Naomi Witmer and Martha Groff.

Surviving are three daughters, Gloria, wife of the late John Roger Stewart, of Osceola Mills, Ruth Ann, wife of the late Tony Donofrio, Jr., of Schuylkill Haven, and Nancy, wife of Randy Schriver of Palmyra; a son Jay, husband of the late Maureen Mumma of Bethel; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild on the way.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., with Pastor Mike Barnhart officiating. There will be a viewing on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Schuylkill Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Pine Grove.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Schuylkill Church of the Brethren, c/o Lois Lehman, 26 Pine Hill Rd., Pine Grove, Pa. 17963 in her memory.

Linda Y. Rhodes
, 55, of St. Clair, passed away Wednesday November 17, 2021, at LVHN-Schulkill-East, Pottsville

Born in Wilmington, DE July 5, 1966, She was a daughter of the late Richard Zachar and Rosalie (Devlin) Zachar.

She was a graduate of Sun Valley High School, Aston, PA.

She was of Catholic Faith.

Surviving are her husband of 35 years Harold M. Rhodes; son Michael Rhodes and his wife Michelle of St. Clair; daughter Stephanie Seidel and her husband Justin of Shoemakersville; 5 grandchildren, Mackenzie, Madeline, Travis and Preston Rhodes; Makenna Seidel; 2 brothers John Zachar; Tom Zachar; Nieces and Nephews.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Marie J.Trankle
, 83, of Orwigsburg, passed away Wednesday, November 17th, at Geisinger St. Lukes's Orwigsburg.

Marie was born in Philadelphia, on June 2, 1938, a daughter of the late Catherine (Zarek) and Stanley Szymanski.

She was the widow of Albert C. Trankle.

Marie graduated from Dobbins High School in 1959.

She worked as a Floor Girl at Classtex and a label printer for Argo knitting mills. She was also a substitute cafeteria worker at Blue Mountain school district.

She enjoyed reading, playing Bingo and Polka music.

Marie is survived by her two daughters, Kathy Schaeffer, wife of Barry and

Rosemarie Rothermel; A son, Albert (Butch) Trankle, husband of Donna.

Marie is also survived by her sister, Theresa Sheffer and her brother, Richard Szymanski.

Marie’s grandchildren are Amanda Trankle, Vanessa, Wife of Ryan McCauley, Scott & Dana Noll; Oliver Schaffer fiancĂ© of Jasmine Walters; Christopher Schaeffer, companion of Jill Saunders and Andrew Rothermel. Her Great Grandchildren are Olivia, Lucas, Omir & Aviana.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 22nd at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Zion’s Cemetery of Perry Township, Hamburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Orwigsburg Area Free Public Library 216 West Independence Street Orwigsburg, PA 17961.

Keith J. Wilkinson
, 44 years of age, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died unexpectedly on Monday, November 15, 2021, at home in Philadelphia.

Born Thursday, June 23, 1977 in Petersburg, Virginia son of the late Thomas Keith Wilkinson, and Kathleen (Moran) McLaughlin.

Surviving are sister, Denise M. Hill wife of Michael of Brockton; step-father, Dennis McLaughlin of Tamaqua, uncle, John Moran and his wife Patricia; cousin John Moran, his companion Brie their children Nolan, Landon, and Lacey.

A 1995 Tamaqua High School graduate, Keith earned his Associates Degree in Business from Northampton Community College, and his Cosmetology degree from Empire School of Cosmetology, Allentown. Keith was an accomplished colorist. Keith was an animal lover.

James Antonio Sr., 98, of Minersville, passed away Tuesday, November 16th, at LVHN Schuylkill East, Pottsville. 

He was born in Minersville, Pa. on July 25, 1923, a son of the late Anna (Conicello) and Carlo Antonio. He was the husband of the late Anna (Bubernak) Antonio. He was a member of Saint Peter & Paul Russian Orthodox Church, Minersville. A graduate of Minersville High School and Drexel University and served in the U.S. Army in WW II. James was employed as a millworker at Alcoa where he was a member of the ALCOA 25 Year Club. He was a member of the Sons of Italy, Mountaineer Fire Co., Minersville, and the Minersville Senior Citizens. 

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers; Patrick and Guy Antonio, and sisters, Angeline Burke and Concetta Antonio. James is survived by a son, James Jr., husband of Marilynn Antonio, of Palmyra and a daughter, Deborah, wife of Bernard Bulino, of Pottsville; He is also survived by grandchildren, Sarah, Christopher, Julie, Allen, and Nicholas. Great grandchildren; Noah, Aiden, Trevor, Anna, Jenna, and Erica. 

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday, November 23, at the Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville, with the Reverend Joseph Ramishvili officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:00 am to the time of service. Interment Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville entrusted with the arrangements.
