According to the Pine Grove Water Department, on Monday, March 14, 2022, at approximately 5:30 AM, a large leak was detected in Ravine Area. Customers may experience a drop/ loss in water pressure due to a water leak repair.
A loss in water pressure is a signal of the existence of conditions that could allow
contamination to enter the distribution system through back-flow by back-pressure or back siphonage. As a result, there is an increased chance that the water may contain disease causing organisms.
A town-wide boil water advisory will be in effect for all water customers.
Customers are not advised to drink the water without boiling it first.
Repairs are currently being made to a 16” water line. Once the repairs are complete; full water pressure should be restored.
