Jordan Michael Smith
, 22 years of age. of Penn Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania died on Monday, March 14, 2022, in Berks County from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident

Born Tuesday, September 7, 1999 in Lehighton, Pennsylvania, he was the son, Michelle (Matula) McHose; father, Michael X. Smith, Sr.; brothers, Michael X. Smith, Jr., Jayden Flores, Andrew R. Toney; sister, Rayanna M. McHose; maternal grandmother, Patti Gregory; paternal grandmother, Michelle Turner; maternal great grandmother, Nancy Nunemacher; mothers fiancé, Nick Pertonitch; stepmother, Amanda Smith; parallel family, Emily Smith, Aliah Smith, Jada Smith, Isiah Smith.

Jordan was predeceased by his brother, Christopher Flores.

A 2018 Tamaqua Area High School graduate, Jordan attended Vo-Tech earning his certification in Masonry. He was employed with the International Union of Bricklayers & Allied Craft Workers. Previously Jordan worked at Highwood in Tamaqua. Jordan enjoyed cars, and working on them. He was a member of St. John U.C.C. of Tamaqua.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10 o'clock A.M. on Thursday March 17, 2022 from the funeral home, Rev. Kevin Duffy-Guy to officiate, Friends may call on Wednesday evening March 16, 2022 from 5 to 7:00 P.M.

Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.

Susan R. Krasinski, 66, Pottsville, entered into eternal rest Friday, March 11 at her residence.

Born November 23, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Krasinski and the late Shirley (Gaskins) Plefka.

Susan was a 1973 graduate of Minersville Area High School and worked as a nurses aid. She was a member of River Church, Pottsville. She enjoyed going to the Pottsville Pool, taking bus trips and loved to read.

She is survived by a son Jason Kemfort husband of Ellie, FL; daughter Tara Kemfort-Floyd wife of Andy, TN; granddaughters Natalie Sinko and Maddie Floyd both of TN; a sister Sandra Johnson wife of Bob, Pottsville; a brother Joe Krasinski, VA; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be celebrated at Noon Saturday, March 19 at the Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home 515 West Market Street Pottsville, Rev. Storm Hutchinson will be officiating. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 10AM until the time of service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.

The family would prefer contributions be made in Susan’s name to the Pottsville Free Public Library.

Harry Edward Peiffer, Sr.
, 92, of Berger Rd., Pine Grove, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022 in the Tremont Health & Rehab Center.

Born on October 17, 1929 in Wayne Twp., he was a son of the late George A. and Mabel Keener Peiffer.

He was a 1947 graduate of Cressona High School.

Harry was an Army veteran having served from 1951 to 1953 during the Korean War. He was a member of the 2112th ASU.

Harry was a Truck Driver for Evans Delivery in Pottsville. He was also a self employed farmer, known for his blueberries and strawberries.

He loved going to the former TTMA truck stop in Pine Grove.

Preceding him in death were his first wife Margaret Aungst Peiffer; a son, Gary Peiffer; two brothers, Clayton and George Peiffer; three sisters, Ellen Heisler, Myrtle Kerchner, and Erma Adams.

Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Anna Futchko Peiffer; two sons, Mark Peiffer, Harry E. Jr. and wife Irene Peiffer; a daughter Lisa and husband Bill Jordan; three granddaughters, Angela Peiffer, Rebecca Peiffer, and Tiffany Peiffer.

All Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the St. Peter's United Church of Christ Memorial Fund, 277 S. Tulpehocken St. Pine Grove, PA 17963 in his memory.

The H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove is in charge of arrangements.

Barbara J. Felty, 79, of Pine Grove, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022 at Providence Place, Pine Grove.

She was born on August 26, 1942 in Neptune, NJ.

Barbara received her Master's Degree and was a Technology Professor at HACC.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Lanny Felty, a son, L.G. Scott Felty, and a grandson Oden Edward Brown

Surviving are a daughter, Nikkole and husband Robert Brown of Schuylkill Haven; a son, Todd and wife Liz Felty of Maine; three grandchildren, Bobby Brown, Meagan Brown, and Alexander "Lex" Felty; and a brother Allan Mizia of California.

All Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

David M. Houser, 58, of Ringtown, passed away Sunday, March 13th, 2022.

David was born in Shenandoah, on October 20, 1963, a son of Anna (Mooney) and Emerald Houser, both of Ringtown.

He worked as a locally as a handyman, and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

In addition to his parents he is survived by a brother Dale Houser of Frackville; and by a sister Lynn, wife of Joe Yotko of Ringtown.

David is also survived by his extended family of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

The Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home in Ringtown will be providing David's family with private services.
