Kaci Regan Strouse, of Mahanoy City, PA, passed away Sunday, March 20th, at Hershey Medical Center.

Kaci was born in Hershey, PA on February 28, 2022, a daughter of Melissa (Weand) and Phillip Strouse

Kaci is survived by five sisters, Kira Kaila Kelly Kurstin Kyleen, Four brothers, Kobe Kory Kole Kollin

Kaci is preceded in death by Maternal grandparents Michael J. Weand and Thelma R. Kase, and, and Paternal grandparents Joseph and Juanita Kara and a niece Korra Strouse.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Edwin I. Nagle, 72, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Saturday, March 19th, at his residence.

Born in Pottsville, on August 9, 1949, a son of the late Ada (Aungst) and Oscar Nagle.

He was the widower of Louise (Boyer) Nagle.

He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, North Bend.

He was a graduate of Blue Mountain High School and then worked at the Garden State Tannery, Dana Corp. and retired from Shalmet as a machinist.

In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by his brother Marlin Nagle and a sister Ellen Laubenstein.

Edwin is survived by his partner Joani Green, Schuylkill Haven and her six children; his daughters Sherry Wilson wife of Ronald, Pottsville, Brenda Nagle and her companion Patrick Miller, St. Clair and Megan Brensinger wife of Todd, Schuylkill Haven; grandchildren Brandon Blankenhorn, Alyssa Hummel, Kelsie Blankenhorn and Cassidy Blankenhorn; several great grandchildren; a brother Richard Nagle husband of Gladys, Pine Grove; and sisters Doris Brown, Fern Zimmerman and Donna Machamer, all of Pine Grove.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 on Thursday, March 24th at Geschwindt Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc in Schuylkill Haven, with Pastor Mahlon Nevel officiating.

A viewing for family and friends will be held from 10:00 until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Walter H. Bilger
, 82 years of age formerly of New Ringgold, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Geisinger / St. Luke's in Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania. Walter had been a guest of Orwigsburg Manor for the past 5 years.

Born Monday, September 11, 1939 in Allentown the son of the late Clarence L., and Virginia L. (Walter) Bilger - Stahlnecker. Walter was also predeceased by his sister, Myrtle Graff; step-father, Lester Stahlnecker.

Surviving; friend of many years, Mary Ellen Hering of Orwigsburg, many nieces and nephews.

A 1957 graduate of Blue Mountain High School, Walter was a salesman for Christmas Around the world. Walter was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church of New Ringgold, Pennsylvania.

Cory D. Henn, 58, of Hegins Pa. passed away peacefully March 21,2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of Daniel S. Henn Sr. and Nancy L. (Reichardt) Henn. He was a graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School, Leesport Pa. 

Cory succumbed to cancer after a five year battle that he fought with courage and dignity. His son Clayton was by his side day and night caring for him. It was a testament to the love they shared for each other as father and son. Cory worked in construction with his father at Henn and Son for many years, last working for M I Windows and Doors. He had a life long love of the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, sharing his love of the outdoors with his sons. Cory loved riding motorcycle. He was proud of his Harley and rode on many trips with his faithful beagle Gus, riding in the side car. 

He is survived by his sons Clayton D. at home, Christopher D. (Schuylkill Haven), Cody D. (Bernville) and Cory D. Henn Jr. (New Mexico). He has one Grandson, Aiden (New Mexico). He is also survived by three brothers, Ralph Shappell and wife Heidi, Randy Shappell and wife Sharon, and Daniel Henn Jr. and by four sisters, Sharon Babiarz, Vicki Myers and husband Dennis, Elaine Deitrich and husband Carl, Joann Garman and husband Bernard. 

He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews. Buffington Reed Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. 

According to Cory's wishes a celebration of his life will be held at a later date with a last motorcycle ride. He will always be remembered and forever in the hearts of those who loved him. Ride Free.

Helen V. Platko
, On March 19, 2022 Helen Platko fell asleep in the Lord at the age of 91, at the Schuykill Center, Pottsville. 

She was born September 2, 1930 in Duncott, one of 13 children of the late Peter and Maria (Volosin) Verbosh. Helen was the wife of the late Paul Platko. Helen was a lifelong member of Ss. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church in Minersville. She was a member of the Sodality of the Blessed Virgin Mary. She earned her Academy of Friendship Degree at the Pottsville Women of the Moose. Helen loved spending time in the kitchen making delicious food like perogies, halupki’s, haluski and city chicken. She was an avid Bingo player and most of all, she loved her family. 

In addition to her parents, Helen was Predeceased by her Husband Paul; Infant Daughter Mary; Son Paul; Brothers – Peter, George, Michael, John, Joseph, Andrew; Sisters – Mary Verbosh, Anna Gavaletz, Veronica Sekellick, Julia Ryan She is survived by her children -Sandra Rickert, husband David – Reading; Laura Mitchell, husband Stephen – Pottsville; Michele Trumbower, husband David – Sellersville; Cheryl Martinozzi, husband Rocco – Birdsboro: Peter Platko, wife Joan – Colmar; 22 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren: Sisters – Bertha Petrisko, and Irene Dallago: Numerous nieces, nephews. 

A Visitation will be held Wednesday, with calling hours from 8:00 to 9:30 am at the Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville, followed by the Office of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Ss. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church with the Very Reverend Gregory J. Noga celebrant. Interment Parish Cemetery.
