PA Synergy Softball Unveils New FRO Uniforms

Earlier this month, the PA Synergy Softball Team, Pottsville, unveiled new uniforms for the 2022 season.

The PA Synergy 16U Fastpitch team has made a name for themselves over the past few years traveling to different parts of the country and winning tournaments.

In 2021, the team was power ranked #1 by the USSSA and won nearly half a dozen tournaments last summer.

The team is coached by Jason Schwalm and Bill Toothaker, Managed by Jeffrey Bowers, with Statistician Brian Spotts.

Since last season, some players have moved on but the team picked up some new players as well.

The team is eager to start their summer season and on Sunday, May 1st, the team, coaches, and parents met at Palermo's in Minersville to unveil their new uniforms.

Due to the team playing long tournaments in the summer heat, the girls need two separate uniforms for playing multiple days in a row. Needing more uniforms also costs the team more money.

With the help of new sponsors, the Famous Reading Outdoors and Brian Rich Jr., the team was able to purchase the extra uniform.

The coaches wanted to recognize FRO for their help, so the second uniform used the same black and red includes their logo on the back.  The girls and the parents were thrilled with the new addition and design.

The uniforms were printed with the help of Matthew Hirsch of Mystic Screen Printing and Embroidery who was also at the unveiling. Hirsch presented each of the players with a bag that contained their new uniforms.

The teams' season kicks off in a few weeks!
