Dolores M. Krull, age 82, of Saint Clair, PA passed away Tuesday May 17, 2022 at the Doylestown Hospital.

Born in Pottsville, PA on July 17, 1939, she was the daughter of the late John and Nancy (Petejko) Krull.

Dolores was a graduate of Saint Clair High School, Class of 1957. She was a member of the St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church in Saint Clair.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister Doris M. Krull on October 11th, 2017.

Dolores is survived by her sister Marilyn B. Sophy, Coopersburg; a nephew Michael J. Sophy, Doylestown; two nieces: Nancy M. Sophy Hinton, Philadelphia and Nicole M. Sophy O'Leary, Pipersville; four great-nieces: Anastasia, Lydea, Giulia and Maebh; and three great-nephews: Nicholas, Luka, and Theo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church in St. Clair at 11AM on Monday May 23rd, with Msgr. William Glosser officiating.

Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Monday from 10-11AM at the Church.

Interment will be held in the Queen of the Universe Cemetery in Pottsville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hillside SPCA P.O. Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901.

The Robert A Evans Jr Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Edward Mohutsky, 88 of Frackville passed away on Thursday evening, December 31, 2020 at St. Luke’s University Health Network Anderson Campus, Easton.

Born in Shenandoah on August 16, 1932 he was a son of the late Michael and Julia (Oravitz) Mohutsky.

He was a graduate of the former J.W. Cooper High School, Shenandoah.

Ed was a retired union pipefitter and was a member of the Pipefitters & Plumbers Local 524, Scranton.

Mr. Mohutsky was a decorated Army veteran having served his country in the Korean War. He received the National Defense Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, the United Nations Service Medal and the Korean Service Medal.

He was a member of Saint Michael’s Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, Shenandoah.

Surviving are his wife of fifty-two years, the former Rosemary Ushock; two sons, Anthony “Tony” Mohutsky of Frackville and Michael Mohutsky and his wife Maria of Indianapolis, Indiana; two daughters, Joy Foster and her husband Michael of Media and Susan Halcovich and her husband Patrick of Frackville; two grandchildren, Michael and Alex Foster; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents were four brothers, Michael, Emil, Ralph and Clarence; and four sisters, Anna Kelly, Mary Jawor, Julia Ciesluk and Christine "Teenie" Sebastian.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Divine Liturgy in St. Michael’s Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, Shenandoah on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at 11:00 am. Monsignor Myron Grabowsky, Pastor will officiate. A visitation will be held prior to Liturgy at the church from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.

Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah is in charge of the arrangements.

Christine P. Teenie (Mohutsky) Sebastian
, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, March 24, 2020 at the Lehigh Center, Macungie.

Born in Shenandoah on March 21, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Julia (Oravitz) Mohutsky.

She was a 1943 graduate of the former J. W. Cooper High School in Shenandoah.

Christine married Walter Buddy Sebastian Aug 26, 1950 who preceded her in death on May 13, 2015.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist de la Salle Catholic Church in Shillington.

Christine was always there for anyone who needed her, including taking care of her younger brothers when their parents died at a very young age.

Christine affectionately called Mom-Mom , cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her family was entertained by her various endearing remarks, affectionately referred to as Mom-Mom-isms i.e. hiya, merrily we live, never a dull moment, off to the races, God bless America, ready for Freddie, grin and bear it, pick a winner, make a trick, ya cant win, ya cant win, the wind blew and you know what flew, Stinky Miller, the list goes on and on. She loved square dancing with her husband, Buddy. She was the beloved ice cream lady at Wilson Southern Junior High School as well as a Brownie troop co-leader in the Sinking Spring community. She became an expert at cake decorating, making hot milk sponge birthday cakes for her family. She was an accomplished cook, lovingly preparing her familys frequently requested Coal Region ethnic dishes such as halupki, kishki, babka, bleenies, and others. She was an excellent seamstress and made drapes for every room of the family home in Sinking Spring. She knitted and crocheted, making afghans and other items for her family. She loved bingo, word searches, and game shows, particularly Family Feud. She especially loved playing cards and other games with her children and grandchildren"she was an expert card shark and managed to win quite often.

Surviving are one son, Walter M. Sebastian and wife Judy of Cape Cod, MA; two daughters, Karen A. Haddigan of Sinking Spring, PA, and Mary C. Noecker and her husband Jim of Saugerties, NY; son-in-law, Tom Haddigan of Bethlehem, PA; seven grandchildren, Erin, Megan, Daniel, Timothy, Katelyn, Adam, and Scott; three great grandsons, Matthew, Michael, and Miles; numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents and her husband were siblings, Michael Mahutsky, Mary Jawor, Anna Kelly, Clarence Mohutsky, Emil Mohutsky, Ralph Mohutsky, Julia Ciesluk and Edward Mohutsky.

Francis C. “Frank” Keiser
, 84, of New Ringgold, formerly a lifelong resident of Park Crest, Barnesville, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2022 in his home. He was the husband of Loretta “Lori” (Wagner) Keiser. They celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary on May 1. Prior to retiring, he was employed for 30 years as an aircraft mechanic at the former Reading Aviation and Allegheny Airlines. Born in Shenandoah, he was the son of the late Francis and Rose (Brentari) Keiser. He was one of the oldest members of St. Richard’s Catholic Church, Barnesville. He was an Air Force veteran and served four years. Frank graduated from Mahanoy Township High School, Class of 1956 and Teterboro School of Aeronautics, NJ. He was a lifetime member and a truck driver for the Ryan Township Vol. Fire Co. Frank had a great sense of humor. Previously he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing. He loved to spend time with his family and friends. He was also preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Nora Keiser. Surviving in addition to his wife, are two brothers, Jerry Keiser, of Pine Grove and Jack Keiser, of Hazleton; many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am, in St. Richard’s Catholic Church, 799 Barnesville Dr, Barnesville, PA 18214, on Wednesday, May 25, 2022. Private interment in Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hillside SPCA, PO Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901.

Arrangements are being handled by the Hartman Funeral Home, 1791 West Penn Pike, Rte. 309, New Ringgold.
