While many business owners closed their doors during the COVID-19 pandemic, two businesses were opening theirs and they celebrated their one year anniversary this past weekend.
Route 61 Hardware and Joe Thurs Automotive had officially open the doors of their new businesses along Route 61 in Fountain Springs in June of 2020.
Cyndi and Joe Thurs had bought the property and renovated the former Gene's Tires and Auto Parts. Since then, business has been booming for both and continue to expand.
This past Saturday, a special celebration was held to commemorate one year in business.
Vendors and food trucks were on-hand along with T102 to did they Saturday Morning Show live right from the store.
