Peter Emmanuel Ramit
, 50, of Hazleton, PA and formerly of Coaldale, PA and Queens, NY, died on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at home. 

Born in Georgetown, Guyana on April 16, 1972, Peter was the son of Eanandee Somwaru of Guyana and the late Ignatius Ramit. Graduating in 1990 from Lehman High School in the Bronx, NY, Peter had a great affinity for manufacturing and technology. He had been employed by various retailers in the area. Peter loved to be outdoors, especially fishing. 

He is survived by a son Jonathan Ramit of Columbia, SC whom he inspired to pursue computer science in his studies; brothers, Andrew Ramit and his wife, Samantha of Dundee, FL, Samuel Ramit and his wife Trisha of Oviedo, FL, and Paul Ramit of Nashville, TN; a nephew and nieces, Matthew Samuel, Maya Samuel, and Emma Samuel whom he cared for deeply; numerous aunts and uncles; and his grandmother, Edith Rose (Emanuelle) Ramitt of Ontario, Canada. 

Services will be held at 12 Noon on Wednesday, June 15 at the Zizelmann-Gulla Funeral Home, 500 East Broad Street, Tamaqua, PA. Interment in Sky View Memorial Park, Hometown, PA will follow services. Call 11 AM - 12 Noon on Wednesday June 15 at the funeral home.

Arrangements are being handled by the Zizelmann-Gulla Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Tamaqua.

Leslie N. Gingrich
, 50, of Orwigsburg, passed away Saturday, June 4th.

Born in Hanford, California on August 16, 1971, a daughter of the late Debra (Shatz) and Leonel DaRosa.

After graduating high school in California, Leslie was a homemaker for most of her life.
Leslie loved riding her Harley Davidson and spending time at the Blue Mountain Fishing Lakes campground. She also devoted her time volunteering for Doug Mastriano and served on the board of directors for "We the people of Coal Country."

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Leslie is survived by her daughter, Breana Gingrich, her two sons; Brandon Silex, Ashton Buckner. Leslie is also survived by her fiancé, Dean Hartenstine.

At the family's request, memorial donations may be forwarded to the family at 317 Pine Creek Drive Orwigsburg, PA 17961.

Services and interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Dorothy Sturm, 95 of Frackvile, died Wednesday June 8, 2022 at Geisinger St. Luke’s Hospital, Orwigsburg.

Born in Maizeville, June 19, 1926 , She was a Daughter of the late Ebenezer and Helen (Moyer) Davis.

Dorothy worked as an inspector for the former Model Garment, Frackville and was a member of the ILGWU.

She worshiped at First United Methodist Church, Frackville and was a member of Frackville Senior Citizens.

She was preceded in death by her Husband Kennethy F. Sturm in 2005; Son Kenneth S. Sturm; 1 Brother Russell Davis; Sister Joan Wilson.

Surviving are Daughter Diane Sturm of Frackville; Granddaughter Tracy Sturm; Grandson Kenneth Sturm and his Wife Lisa, granddaughter Tanya Harvey; Great-Grandchildren Ryan Thurs; Mason Thurs; Thomas Sturm; Elise Sturm; Taniesha Harvey; Brayden Harvey; Brother William Davis and his Wife Cathie; Sister Betty Richards; Nieces, Nephews and Cousins;

Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday from First United Methodist Church, 25 South Balliet St. Frackville, PA 17931 with Rev. David Davis officiating. . Friends may call from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund at the above address. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery .

Vincent G. Mozloom, Jr.
, 70, of Pottsville, died peacefully Wednesday morning at the Outpatient Hospice of Lehigh Valley Hospital-17 & Chew, Allentown.

He was born September 23, 1951 in Pottsville a son of the late Vincent G. Sr. and Dorothy Dolqueist Mozloom.

He was a 1969 graduate of Nativity BVM High School, Pottsville.

Prior to retiring Vince worked for different Mobile Home factories.

Vince was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville and was lead vocalist for the bands Mixx and Route 61.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Mercedes Mozloom; a sister, Katherine Bradbury.

Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Jacqueline Bound Mozloom; 2 daughthers, Sarah Moyer and her husband George, Pottsville; Amy Tobin and her husband John, Cumbola; a son Vincent C. Mozloom, Pottsville; 8 grandchildren; a sister, Francis Goodling and her husband Scott, Collegeville; a brother Joseph Mozloom and his wife Sally, Lancaster; nieces and nephews.

Service of Remembrance will be held at the convenience of the family from the James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions in memory of Vince be made to the American Stroke Association, 7272 Greenville Ave.
