The sound of music could be heard in Butler Township on Saturday at North Schuylkill's Tournament bands where 16 teams performed.

The event included over 500 musicians from marching bands from Minersville Area, Wyalusing Area, Mahanoy Area, Shenandoah Valley, Panther Valley, Mifflin County, Pocono Mountain East, Central Dauphin, Halifax, Trinity High, Shamokin Area, Donegal High, Upper Dauphin, Williams Valley, and Lake Lehman.

The bands competed in their own divisions and were judged on their visuals, music, and curriculum.
