Richard Eames “Rick” Bachman, 66, of Tamaqua, PA passed, with family by his side, on Thursday, November 24, 2022, in Salisbury Township, PA. He was the husband of the late Debbie Lee (Flexer) Bachman to whom he had been married 43 years at the time of her death in March of this year. 

Born in Coaldale, PA on December 24, 1955, Rick was the son of the late Harry and Anna (Eames) Bachman. A 1973 graduate of Tamaqua High School, he served in the Marines during the Vietnam War. Rick worked on the assembly line at the former KME in Nesquehoning, PA prior to retiring in January of 2017. A devoted outdoorsman, he loved to hunt and fish. Rick enjoyed being a mechanic but adored his kids and grandkids. He was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Tamaqua. 

Rick is survived by sons, Matthew Bachman and his wife Jessica of Tamaqua and Zachary Bachman and his wife Corrine of Tamaqua; Daughter, Rikki Trinkle and her husband Kyle of Coaldale; grandchildren, Naomi Bachman, Hunter Bachman, Meadow Bachman, Archer Bachman, and Toby Trinkle; sister, Ruth Catherine Porter and her husband, Edward of Florida; and companion, Dawn Faust of Tamaqua. 

Burial in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA will take place at a later date.

Stephen T. Mollick
, 80, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Tuesday, November 22nd, at his residence. .

Stephen was born in Pottsville, PA on October 24, 1942, a son of the late Anna Marie (Novack) and Steven Mollick.

He was the husband of Patricia A. (Polinsky) Mollick.

He was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church Schuylkill Haven.

He served in the U.S. Army.

He worked as a Truck Driver at Lowes Distribution Center also worked for over 30 years at Quaker Maid Kitchen Leesport.

Stephen is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Borrell, of Pottsville, and Melissa, wife of Vincent S. Meyer, of Pottsville.

He is also survived by 4 grandchildren Anndrea Hodson, Katelyn Borrell, Megan Meyer and Shane Meyer, 4 great grandchildren, two sisters and one brother.

He was preceded in death by a daughter Brenda Polinsky

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 10:30:00 on Wednesday, November 30th at Geschwindt Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc in Schuylkill Haven, PA with Rev. Msgr. Edward S. Zemanik officiating, a viewing will be held for family and friends 9:30:00 to 10:30:00 on Wednesday, November 30th at Geschwindt Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc in Schuylkill Haven, PA.

The family prefers remembrances in the form of contributions to St. Clair Military Honor c/o Beatrice Allen 536 South Mills Street St. Clair, PA 17970

Interment with full military honors will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery Annville 17003, PA.

William A. Campbell Jr., age 55, of Barnesville passed away Friday at his home. 

Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late William A. and Joeann (Rubincan) Campbell Sr. He attended Coatesville Schools and was last employed by Lakeside Park Beverage in Barnesville. He is survived by his siblings Donald Campbell, Tina Thomas, Kenny, Michael and Kim Kryworuka as well as nieces and nephews. 

Services will be private.

Theresa M. Cleary, 96, of Pine Grove, formerly of Newtown, Reilly Township, passed away on Wednesday at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Schuylkill – East.

Born in Newtown on July 20, 1926, she was the daughter of the late John and Mae (nee Neal) Gauntlett. She attended Reilly Township schools and worked in the garment industry.

Preceding her in death were her husband of 71 years, John P. Cleary, in 2015; a son, John R. Cleary, in 2011; two brothers, Joseph Gauntlett, in 2004, and John Gauntlett, in childhood.

Theresa is survived by two children, Thomas P. Cleary (spouse, Diane), Palmyra, and JoAnn Schnoke (spouse, Harold), Pine Grove; her daughter-in-law, Patricia Cleary, Pine Grove; five grandchildren, Brenda Strause, Kelly Fritz, John Cleary, Steven Cleary and Jeffrey Cleary; nine great-grandchildren, Christopher, Andrew and Amanda Stevens, Megan Hughes, Cody Fidler, Mason Cleary, Gage, Addy and Connor Cleary; a great-great grandson, Asher Hughes. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, including Cathy Palokas, Branchdale.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Reilly Township. Dutcavich Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Eileen Joan Burke, 67, of Shenandoah, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, November 25th, 2022, surrounded by her family.

Born in Shenandoah on July 19th, 1955, Eileen was the daughter of the late Edmund J. and Margaret (Kane) Burke.

Eileen was a 1973 graduate of Cardinal Brennan High School. She then worked as a police officer for the city of Philadelphia. She was very active with the Republican Party and was currently serving as a Borough Councilwoman for the town of Shenandoah. She adored her dogs, Dixie, Dakota, and Caesar, along with her 4 feline friends.

Eileen is survived by her wife, Kathleen (Ransom) Burke, 1 sister, Mary Catherine Berresford with her husband Russ of Shenandoah. Step-children - Joshua and Matthew Ransom, nieces and nephews – George DeAngelo, John DeAngelo with Amber, Jason Berresford, and Heather Yarnitsky with Rick, great niece and nephew – Kadence and Bryden, including several other great nieces and nephews along with cousins. 1 aunt, Betty Burke.

Visitation for family and friends will take place on Wednesday, November 30th from 9 to 11am at the Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc, Shenandoah. Burial will immediately follow in the Annunciation BVM Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights.

Dorothy Novatnak, 91, of Beaver Meadows, passed away Wednesday morning at Hometown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Castura) Palko.

Dorothy was a member of Church of All Saints, McAdoo. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and will be sadly missed.

Preceding her in death, were her husband Robert L. Novatnak; great-grandson Brandon Novatnak; brothers John, Albert, Thomas, Joseph, William and Richard Palko.

Surviving are her daughter Mary Ann Novatnak, of Beaver Meadows; son Robert J. Novatnak, of Middletown; grandsons Michael Pendal and Robert J. Novatnak, Jr.; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved chihuahuas ‘Bella, Lilly and Lacey”.

Her funeral will be held Friday. Rev. Msgr. William Baker will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial in Church of All Saints, McAdoo, at 11 a.m. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

A calling hour will be held Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Church of All Saints, 21 N. Cleveland St., McAdoo, PA 18237.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Hometown Nursing Home, and Dr. and Mrs. Mark Lobitz and staff for their excellent care of their mother and grandmother.

Shawn M. McGinley
, 42, Lewisburg, went to eternal rest on Nov. 24th at his residence.

Born in Pottsville he was a son of Joseph O. and Rita Ritro McGinley, Ashland. He was employed as a manager for Aids Resources, Williamsport.

Shawn was a graduate of North Schuylkill High School and Kutztown University.

Shawn was the brightest light in every room, with a contagious laugh that will forever ring in the ears of his loved ones. To say that Shawn loved baseball is an understatement. He played Little League, Teener league, high school and Legion baseball.He then continued as a Little League Umpire for the Ashland and Minersville leagues.

He was also an excellent cook, could speak fluently in movie quotes and had a love / hate relationship with Philadelphia sports teams. He cherished his annual fishing trips with his dad and his regular kitchen-talks with his mom. His brothers were his best friends and he loved playing with his nephews and nieces more than anything. He enjoyed traveling with his beloved wife, Brittany but also loved relaxing with his sheepdog and a good documentary. The world is truly a lesser place without him.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife Brittany Ketchem, three brothers: Joseph M. and his wife Stefanie McGinley, Mark O. McGinley and Bryan D. McGinley and his companion Heather Strackbein all of Ashland. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

Georgine Fogarty, 73, Frackville, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday at her residence.

Born in Middleport she was a daughter of the late George and Irene Romanko Reed. She had been employed as a CNA having last worked for Broad Mountain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Frackville, until her retirement.

Georgine loved gardening during her free time.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Roseann Schaeffer.

She is survived by her companion Sheldon Buscavage, her son Patrick Fogarty and his companion Amy Leitzel, Ringtown, her three daughters; Jeannie wife of Ed Folweiler, Quakake, Jacqueline Fogarty, New Philadelphia and Susan Fogarty, Ashland, her brother George Reed, New Philadelphia, her sister Patty Reed, DE, six grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and her faithful dog Molly.

Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
