Stehr Takes Oath of Office to Begin Serving the 107th House District

Rep. JoAnne Stehr (R-Northumberland/Schuylkill) took the oath of office Tuesday to begin her first term in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives serving the 107th District.

“It is truly an honor to have been elected to represent the 107th District and work hard for all Pennsylvanians, alongside my fellow legislators in the General Assembly,” said Stehr. “This session, I look forward to bringing a strong conversative voice to Harrisburg and serving my constituents to the best of my abilities.”

For the 2023-24 Legislative Session, Stehr’s priorities include restoring the economy; energizing small business; tax reform; agriculture; veterans; health; seniors; legislative term limits; and protecting children, gun rights, freedom and core American conservative values.

A lifelong resident of Schuylkill County, Stehr graduated from Tri-Valley High School. Upon graduation, she worked full-time, while attending night school at the Schuylkill Area Vocational Technical School, where she became a licensed practicing nurse. She has spent 30 years as a home health care and hospice nurse and has worked as a client relationship executive for Home Health Services.
