Minersville ended Marian Catholic's season in the 2A District XI Quarterfinals at Martz Hall.
When Marian appeared to have the game under control Friday night, the Miners battled back to take the win.
At the half of the game, Marian held a 27-22 lead and up to a 13-point lead in the 3rd quarter.
The fourth quarter made all the difference when Minersville rallied back and tied the game at 49 with just over a minute left in the game.
Minersville would pick up the win 54-49.
The Minersville move on to play Mahanoy Area at 6:00pm at Martz Hall in the 2A Semifinals on Tuesday.
