Alan Harold Felty, 73, of Rock Rd, Schuylkill Haven passed away Thursday April 6, 2023 at LVHN-Cedar Crest after complications from triple bypass surgery and Covid-19.

Born in Pottsville, August 30, 1949, he was a son of the late Harold and Marie (Schwartz) Felty.

A 1967 graduate of Pine Grove High School, he went on to further his education at York College of Pennsylvania and Elizabethtown College.

He was the owner of Alan H. Felty Inc., Harold M. Felty Inc., and Swatra Leasing Inc.

Alan was a member of St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Pine Grove, the Buck Ridge Hunting Club, Sinnamahoning PA, Tri City Hunting Club Heathsville, VA, Pine Grove Fish and Game, Mansion House Adult Fast Pitch Softball and an Eagle Scout. He started coaching his daughters in Pine Grove youth softball and then went on to coach Kayla's travel softball team. He would continue coaching at both Nativity BVM and Pine Grove High School programs. He also helped build the North End Softball Complex. He was a long time sponsor of girls' youth softball and little league baseball. His passion for the sport would touch many lives in the surrounding communities.

A wonderful husband, father and pappy, Alan had a passion for the outdoors and loved spending time with his family on his farm. He loved sharing his knowledge of turkey hunting with his nephew Steve and great nephews Tyler, Matt, and Shayn.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Linda Nagle.

Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Ann (Chesonis) Felty, daughters Dr. Trista Felty Tsang and her husband Dr. Daniel Tsang of Abbotsford, BC, Kayla Felty and her fiancé Derrell Johnson-Koulianos of Schuylkill Haven, sister Kathy Clark and her companion Dale of Lewisbury, grandchildren Raya, Della, Lenna, and Larkin Tsang, Jaxon and Jett Johnson-Koulianos and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 PM Tuesday, April 11, 2023 from St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 312 S. Tulpehocken St. Pine Grove, Pa 17963. Rev Brian Beissell will be officiating. Calling hours will immediately follow the service until 8:00 PM.

The Donald J. Butler Funeral Home, Minersville, is in charge of arrangements.

David L. Loch
, 70 years, of Cumbola, PA, passed away surrounded by his loved ones on Thursday, April 6, 2023.

He was the husband of Bonnie Loch (Kauffman - Runkle) for 18 years.

Born in Doylestown, PA, he was the son of Janette A. (Breininger) Loch and the late Lester C. Loch.

He grew up on his parent's farm and became a Proud Teamster LTL Freight Driver for Yellow Freight Corp until he retired in 2015.

Survivors: his loving wife, Bonnie Loch; son David L. Loch II and grandson Cody David Loch of Orefield PA; son and daughter-in-law Daniel L. Loch and Caitlin Schultheis of Bethlehem, PA; stepdaughter Stacy, wife of Thomas D. Reed of Middleport, PA; stepson Anthony Vincent Runkle of Cumbola, PA; step grandchildren JR, Veronica and Marcus; sisters Linda, wife of Glenn Reeder of New Tripoli, Susan Held of Hamburg, Donna, wife of Thomas Rabenold of Millersburg; and five nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Peter. In lieu of services, the family has requested to plant a garden in his honor or spend a day with loved ones.
