Pastor Charged by West Penn Township Police for Sexually Abusing 3 Juveniles

West Penn Township Police charged a Pastor this week with sexually abusing 3 juveniles over a decade ago.

According to West Penn Township Police, on April 27, 2023, a victim came forward to report that she and two other females had been sexually abused by Pastor Marvin Leroy Mosley for approximately 7 years when they were children.  Mosley is the former pastor of the United Methodist Church in Andreas and is currently serving in Milroy, Mifflin County, Pennsylvania.

The victim stated that she met Mosey when she was involved in the Gods Missionary Church, Inc., 125 Penn View Drive, Penns Creek, in Snyder County where he was assigned to the church as the pastor.

At the time of the abuses, Mosely befriended and lived with the victim’s family in West Penn Township.

Court documents stated that the 26-year-old female victim reported she was sexually abused by Mosley from the time she was 7 to 15 years old.  She also told police she was aware of the two other victims, one of them being 10 years old at the time.

On May 8, 2023, Mosley was interviewed by the West Penn Township Police and admitted to sexually abusing the victims for sexual gratification.

On June 20, 2023, a warrant was issued for Marvin Mosley’s arrest on charges of indecent assault of a person less than 13, indecent assault of a person less than 16, and corruption of minors.

West Penn Township Police coordinated with State Police in Lewistown to retrieve Mr. Mosley at his home at 101 College Avenue, Milroy, PA on Tuesday.

Upon transfer to West Penn Township Police, Mosley was arraigned later Tuesday by Magisterial District Justice Andrew J. Serina and committed to the Schuylkill County Prison in lieu of $100,000.00 straight bail.
